Our Courthouse is located in Hugo, the County Seat.

Lincoln County is the center point of the Ports-to-Plains Corridor

which connects the U.S./Mexico Border in Texas to the U.S. Canada Border between Montana/Alberta and North Dakota/Saskatchewan and domestically between. Interstate 70, U.S. Highways 40/287 and 24, Colorado State Highways 71 and 94 all move through Lincoln County.  There are two railroads, the Union Pacific and Rail America's KYLE, in Lincoln County.

There are four incorporated towns located in Lincoln County:

  • Genoa
  • Hugo
  • Limon 

The unincorporated community of Karval is located in the southern part of the county.
