Lincoln County Colorado boundary is a rectangular polygon, longer in the north/south orientation than wide, in the Great Plains section of Eastern Colorado. The area is 1,644,800 acres of rolling high prairie, all well over 4000 feet above sea level. It was first homesteaded in the 1880s.
